I have now been in crisis mode for more than two weeks. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and I believe things will have calmed down by the end of this week. But I have never been so exhausted in my life.

Hubby has been amazing. He has known what I needed without asking, and taken care of important things I didn't even think of. He has missed work and rearranged plans to be with SB so I can be with my mom or handling details.

And, at the end of each long day, when the tears I have been suppressing finally come, he is there. He has truly been my rock.

But he hasn't been my only support.

Neighbors have brought over meals, hot from the oven and ready to serve. Delicious comfort food like chicken pot pie and lasagna.

Friends have provided childcare, both planned in advance and last minute as needed. They've given hugs. Offered prayers. Phoned from far away to say they love me.

I would never be able to get through this without help. And I am grateful to have so many I can lean on. I learned a long time ago how essential it is to ask for help when you need it. Thank you to all those who have answered my call!

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, Gonna try with a little help from my friends

Oh, I get high with a little help from my friends

Yes, I get by with a little help from my friends,
with a little help from my friends
