At this time of year, bloggers often highlight and share their top or favorite posts of the year. It's been a great one here at The Writer Revived.
Rather than list the posts that received the most "hits," I'd like to share with you my personal favorites. Some were popular, others were not. But I loved them, and here's why:
My husband shared with me a wonderful post by a talented writer, and I created my own version. I love this post for the perspective I gained in writing it. Not to mention it was a fun look down memory lane...
I did not begin blogging until after SB was one. So I had never shared her birth story before. When I launched the Giving Birth Series on The Mom Pledge Blog, I had the perfect opportunity to write it up. And I'm so glad I did!
Coming round the mountain
One of the topics I have written about most often on this blog is SB's struggles with Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She's come a long way. So far, in fact, that I often forget how difficult it used to be for her to communicate.
Small child, big plans
This post shares insight into the mind of the real star of this blog - The String Bean. I love the little person she is today, and look forward to seeing what she will become as she grows...
This post still makes me laugh. Not only for the exchange between SB and a little girl at the park, but also because of the way I misinterpreted the situation. All's well that ends well, but I will be careful not to share TMI with my child in the future.
So there you have it. My personal favorite posts from the past year.
Thank you for reading my little blog in 2012, and engaging with me in discussion. I value you so much! Hope to see more of you in 2013!
Happy New Year!
