Here, there and everywhere

The other evening I was on Twitter moaning about my blog stats. I'm not one to get caught up in that stuff, but it was shocking to see how few people are reading my blog these days. I'm not above admitting it is disheartening.
The fabulous Kit from The Year of Blogging Dangerously immediately offered encouragement. Brought up a few good points. And then asked if I would be interested in doing a guest post on her site.
Would I be interested?! Not only is Kit one of my favorite people I have connected with online, I am a big fan of her blog. If you don't know her, you are really missing out.
When I'm having a difficult day, Kit is there with encouraging words. When I have good news to celebrate, she is one of the first to offer congratulations. Over the last year, as we have both become busier, we have connected less often. But we still do connect, and I value her friendship.
She is the "Anonymous and Dangerous Blogger Extraordinaire and Creator of #WINEPARTY." What is wine party? Only the best time you could possibly have on Twitter.
Every Friday night at 9PM EST, people get together to chat while enjoying their beverage of choice, which does not have to be alcoholic, by the way. In fact, you probably have a better chance of keeping up if you're not drinking alcohol. But it's a blast either way.
Kit has developed a following of close to 25,000 people. So you can imagine how excited I was when she asked me to write a "g-spot" post for her popular blog. Best of all, I had a post written already I felt was perfect.
I wrote it a while ago because I needed to express some things. But it just didn’t feel right for this blog. I don’t ever talk about sex here. But that is what Kit's blog is all about. I'm telling you this as a warning.
You may not want to jump over and see me writing about this topic. It is out of the realm of my norm. But, I've written a serious post about an issue I feel is important. So if you are brave, go ahead and check it out...
If you'd like to stick to my more usual stuff, my second post as a contributor to And Nobody Told Me appeared yesterday as well. In which I tell you what you should do with that list of "rules" you made up before you became a mom:
