I have been reading a lot lately about the pros and cons of pre-published writers having their own websites. And while it is certainly not necessary, there seem to be a lot of compelling reasons for a writer to create one. Some have even been told it was a factor in landing them an agent and/or publisher. From what I can tell, the only con is running the risk that what you put out there is not well put together and projects the wrong image. So, I decided I would create one.
This presented a conundrum; I don't have the money to hire a professional to develop a site for me, nor do I have the skills to do so myself. Or so I thought. But thanks to the tools available (free or at low cost) from Yola.com, I was able to design my own website. And I'm pretty happy with the results. Check it out and let me know what you think! http://www.efloraross.com/
