I'm versatile!

I've always believed I was a very versatile person, and now it has been proven! The Drama Mama has bestowed me with The Versatile Blogger Award! My very first blog award! (I also received my first request to review a product on my blog - which I'm told means I have arrived.) All kinds of cool! Thank you!
You don't just get a blog award, brag about it and go on with your day, however. There are rules involved. I have to:
  • Thank and link back to the person who gave me this award.
  • Share seven things about myself.
  • Pass the award along to 15 bloggers who I have recently discovered and think are fantastic for whatever reason! (In no particular order.)
  • Contact the bloggers I've picked and let them know about the award.
First rule - check. Second rule. Hmmm. Not so easy. Let's see, seven things about myself... It will probably be more interesting if I provide information not already shared through my blog posts:

  1. I love baseball
  2. I hate shopping (I mean HATE!)
  3. I grew up in Missouri
  4. I am 5'10" (Tall girls RULE!)
  5. I don't like vegetables
  6. I wanted to be a veterinarian growing up
  7. I have had plastic surgery (But I won't tell you where)
As a matter of fact, let's turn this last one into a contest. If you can guess what part(s) of my body has/have been surgically altered, you will win a prize of unspeakable value. I don't know what it is yet, but I'll figure out something great!
Now, on to the bloggers I think are fantastic. This should be easy; I've been connecting with tons of great ones lately. Of course there are also bloggers I've been following for a while I feel are deserving, too. So, I'm going to throw out the "recently" part. Here are some awesome bloggers you should check out:

Actually, that was hard, because there are even more fabulous bloggers out there. I'll try to catch them next time. And the list was supposed to be in no particular order, but I'm not big on randomness (maybe I should have put that above). So I put them in alphabetical order. Plus, that way no one can think there is some hidden meaning to my order.
So, time for me to go share the good news with all these awesome bloggers. And for you to check them out! Go! Get out of here! You have a lot of reading to do...

  5. Hmm, cosmetic surgery. Well, I'm going for boob job - reduction. 'Cause you got the height gene and the cute gene, you most likely got the boob gene as well. :) Congrats on being an award winner!

  10. What a fun blog! I'm quite enjoying it. :)

Hmm, plastic surgery...I'd say that you had a tummy tuck because you're a mom, and sometimes the body doesn't fit back together on its own. Maaaaaybe.

Surgically altered? Hmm, nose job? Oh my gosh, not to imply you've had one or have ever needed one. I need one so that's what I always think about...can't wiat to find out!

  14. Yay for you and the other bloggers. I'll check them out. Your tweet caught my eye, so I had to check out the bit about plastic surgery.

From your picture, it looks like you have a good nose. I'll guess nose job! Of course it would be for the "deviated septum," as the celebrities like to say.

  24. To posit a guess would be to imply imperfection. Cannot do it :)

  25. I'm going to go with something around the eyes - either lids or bags. Please don't be offended if I'm wrong.

  26. I'm going to guess the one place that I'VE had plastic surgery. Your ear lobe? I had a camper when I was a counselor rip my earring out of my ear and I had to get it fixed... An I right?
